"After moving to Sumter, South Carolina in 1984, I needed to find a beautician. I was referred by my cousin to go to the Clyburn's Beauty Salon.
There were several beauticians that worked at the beauty salon. Mrs. Dollie Swinton became my first beautician, then the late Mrs. Ida Davis-Smith and now Mrs. Loretta Way.
The ladies that work at the Clyburn's Beauty Salon are like family. They all care for each other and their clients. the beauticians care about the community as a whole.
